Stillness

There is nothing like the stillness
When it’s time for me to heal
A gift
A light of rediscovery

There is only a fan spinning
In the room where I sit
It’s like a castle in the air
As it circles endlessly

Every now and then 
I visit this place
To stop circling
To forgive myself
This time to let go of
Ambition
Arrogance

Here the fog lifts
Over intimacy
I can see myself
All that I love
I can see a road as home
Contentment as change

I am learning to accept what comes
